Our approach

Most hospital directories rank, score, or number their listings. We deliberately don't — here's why, and what we do instead.

No numbered rankings

We never present hospitals as #1, #2, #3 — position implies a false precision that doesn't reflect how genuinely different hospitals are suited to different needs.

No composite scores

We don't reduce a hospital to a single number out of 100. A hospital that's excellent for cardiac care and average for maternity can't be honestly captured by one score.

Collections, not leaderboards

When we group hospitals together, it's around a shared editorial theme — every hospital in a collection is presented with equal weight.

Editorial notes over star-chasing

We write a genuine, considered note about what a hospital is actually like, rather than optimising for a high aggregate rating.

Mood tags over competitive badges

Tags like "Calm & quiet" or "Great for families" describe an experience, not a competitive claim to being the best at something.

A note on our data

Hospital data is currently placeholder/illustrative while this site is being built out, and will be replaced with verified, sourced data before launch. Cost ranges are indicative — always confirm directly with the hospital before treatment.
